How do I re-check everyone's insurance every month?
This is the chore every billing office knows: on the first of the month, re-check everyone’s coverage. Done by hand it takes hours. Hand it to a schedule instead.
- Start on the Patients list and tick the patients whose coverage you want re-checked. Selecting rows brings up the bulk bar.
- Click Schedule and advanced to build a repeating job rather than a one off.
- Pick what it does: Check eligibility, which asks each payer whether the coverage is still active. It is read only. A scheduled job can never submit a claim, only look things up.
- Set the rules: a name, recurring, monthly, on the first. That is the whole cadence.
- Read the priced preview. Because this spends money, it shows the price before anything runs: how many patients, the price each, and the cost per run. You set a monthly budget cap, and accepting this preview is your standing consent for the runs to come.
- Accept and schedule. The job appears with its next run, its budget cap, the consent you gave, and the list of patients it works.
You do not have to wait for the first. Run now fires the same job immediately, and the results land on the patient rows: checked today, coverage active.
A schedule can also email you a summary, and it is careful about what it sends: only counts and a secure login link. Never patient names, never details. You log in to see the rest.
